My name is grace theriot, and i am the founder of seniors by grace, where i have been photographing seniors just like you for nearly a decade. my goal is to always create a session experience that allows you the freedom to comfortably be your most authentic self, one that inspires confidence.
you might be asking yourself the question: “why should i pick this photographer?” it’s a good question, one you definitely should be asking yourself.
as a 2020 high school graduate, a significant part of my senior year was cancelled. this included milestone moments such as prom, my last yearbook, my own senior photos, and the big one… graduation. this was an incredibly difficult year across the world, so my problems as a high schooler felt very… insignificant, in comparison. but this was the feeling that drove me to dedicate my career to ensuring that i could provide a milestone moment for seniors like you. so, let’s get you authentic images that will last you a lifetime.
THE BOOKING PROCESS
send in your inquiry formfilling out your inquiry form is the first step in the booking process. this form will collect your contact info, as well as your session preferences. this form can be found here.

inquiry form responseonce i receive your form, one of two things will happen: 1) i accept your booking, OR 2) i suggest a new date/time based on my availability if your first preferred date gets booked ahead of you.

retainer fees & contractonce your session date is accepted & solidified, your senior portrait contract + your retainer payment link, will be sent your way. both actions must be fully completed in order to reserve my time & services.

this is the window when we will hold your complimentary 30-minute consultation call. further details about your session, location, outfit(s), and more will be discussed during this time.
after our call, communication will remain open for any additional shoot planning & session reminders until your scheduled shoot date.

Your Questions, Answered.-
class of 2027 bookings open march 1st, 2026! it is suggested to fill out your inquiry form and book your session ASAP, as my books fill up quickly each year.
spring and summer sessions fill up the fastest, while fall sessions are generally okay to book a bit later.

all retainer fees will be 25% of your total session cost and will be due at the time of booking to reserve your session date. this payment will be non-refundable as a reservation for my time and services. the remaining 75% is due on the day of your senior session after the session is completed.
***refunds may only be considered for emergency circumstances and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but are not guaranteed.

in the event of a poor weather conditions or a personal emergency, we will compare our calendars and reschedule your session to my next available shoot date.
poor weather conditions for sessions may look like: rain, high winds, excessive heat, or intense sunlight during afternoon sessions.

yes, friends and family are always welcome!
***dogs are also welcome for outdoor sessions, but must be on a leash with a guest at all times and adhere to any building/park rules.

yes! you will have the option to order prints throughout the life of your online photo gallery, making it a one-stop-shop.
to clarify, photo prints are not included in any current seniors by grace packages, but are available for purchase separately. upon signing your senior contract, you are granted printing rights for personal use. meaning, you can print elsewhere if you’d like.

the term “hosting” refers to how long your gallery link is hosted on my site. for example, if your senior experience package indicates a 30-day hosting included, your gallery link will be active for those 30-days from image return, then will expire and no longer be accessible afterwards. i encourage all clients to download their galleries right away to multiple safe locations. popular suggestions include: mobile device photo apps, device cloud storage, and hard drives.
want to keep your gallery up? starting this senior season (class of 2027), i will be offering several new options for my online galleries:
temporary gallery renewal - 1 additional week: $10
gallery renewal - 6 months: $50
gallery renewal - 12 months: $100
these fees cover the costs of time spent redownloading and recovering galleries, in addition to the greater storage and licensing costs required of a photography business.
