Portfolio Review Terms & Conditions
Portfolio reviews are intended to provide professional, creative, and conceptual feedback based on the reviewer’s individual experience, artistic perspective, and professional opinion. Because photography and fashion are subjective creative disciplines, feedback may differ from the participant’s personal artistic vision, expectations, or preferences.
By booking a portfolio review, you acknowledge and agree that the feedback provided is subjective and may include critiques, recommendations, or opinions that you may disagree with or find challenging. All portfolio review fees are non-refundable, in whole or in part, based on disagreement with, dissatisfaction with, or emotional response to the feedback provided during or following the review. A difference in artistic opinion, creative direction, professional assessment, or personal interpretation does not constitute grounds for a refund.
Reviews are conducted in good faith and are intended to provide constructive, professional feedback. The reviewer reserves the right to decline to provide feedback on material that falls outside the scope of the review or to discontinue a review in cases involving abusive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate behavior. No refund will be issued in circumstances where a review is discontinued due to the participant’s conduct.
A portfolio review does not guarantee representation, employment, publication, agency placement, client acquisition, editorial opportunities, or any other professional outcome. Recommendations and opinions provided during a review are not guarantees of future results.
The participant is solely responsible for decisions made based on feedback received during the review. The reviewer does not assume responsibility for the participant’s creative, professional, financial, or business decisions resulting from the review.
The participant retains ownership of their submitted photographs and original creative work. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the reviewer will not reproduce, publish, distribute, or commercially use submitted work. Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are the sole creator and have the necessary rights and permissions to submit all materials included in their portfolio.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the reviewer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or emotional damages arising from participation in a portfolio review or reliance on feedback provided during the review. The reviewer’s total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by the participant for the applicable portfolio review.
By purchasing or booking a portfolio review, the participant confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, including the subjective nature of creative feedback and the non-refundable nature of the review fee.
These Terms & Conditions are intended to establish clear expectations for both parties and do not waive or limit any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
